A sales intern must have:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Knowledge of Web and social media
· Interest in learning about sales
· Very good organizational skills
· Should be persuasive and know how to negotiate well

· Must be hardworking and willing to do a lot of legwork at the grassroots level if required


· Assisting the team lead
· Identifying new sales leads
· Generating online enquiries
· Contacting Potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
· Attending conferences, meetings and industry events to explore networking opportunities
· Learn company culture, company products and services offered to consumers
· May need to organize client contact lists and schedule updates
· Administrative duties related to the sales process
