NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN PART 4
This is Tafa Balogun, He was I.G of Police from March 2002- January 2005 in The Obasanjo Regime.
On 4 April 2005, Tafa Balogun was arraigned at the Federal High Court, Abuja on charges involving about N13 billion obtained through money laundering, theft and other sources. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission under Nuhu Ribadu brought 70 charges against Tafa Balogun covering the period from 2002 to 2004.
He made a plea bargain with the court in exchange for returning much of the property and money. He was sentenced to six months in jail. He was released on 9 February 2006 after serving his sentence.
The Later is IBRAHIM IDRIS...HE IS THE FIRST AND CURRENT INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE IN THIS ERA OF CHANGE.
Currently, A senator of The Federal Reuplic of Nigeria came up well Detailed facts on how the Inspector General of Police makes N10B monthly from Oil Companies, Expatriates and Companies for Their Security. The accumulated sum of this is N120B annually
The second accusation is that of extorting money, ranging from N10m to N15m, from Commissioners of Police, State Mobile Commanders and Special Protection Units (SPU) Commanders, for favourable postings.
In this Era of Change where The Corruption Fight is It's first Priority, The Presidency, The National Assembly, The ICPC or Even The EFCC have refused to investigate this claim
Guess what?
Senator Masiu who made this claim has been declared wanted by The Nigeria Police Force
The First stole N13 Billion and was jailed after giving back all the money and Properties
The Later gets N120B Annually and is been preserved
Na our Future people dey play with ooh..
